Curious George

Here is a Curious George cake for a first birthday. Vanilla cake with alternating layers of vanilla mousseline buttercream and raseberry mousseline buttercream. George was hand molded out of fondant.

Pink and red birthday cake

This cake was for my daughters 7th birthday. She wanted pink and red. 9" round double layer chocolate cake with strawberry filling, chocolate frosting and covered in marsh mellow fondant. Roses, ribbon and bow are all fondant.

Christmas Cake

This is a 3 layer 9" red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting covered in rolled fondant. Pine branches hand painted with food color, fondant holly leaves and pine cones, gumpaste flowers and holly berries and royal icing snow flakes.

50th birthday cake for Mom

This was a cake I made for my mom's 50th birthday. She is into scrapbooking so I thought it would be neat to do a 'scrapbook' cake for her. I used edible photo images printed on rice paper that ranged from her young childhood all the way to present time. I wish I had had more time to put into it because I think it could have been a lot better. I was doing so many other things for the party that I didn't have as much time as I would have liked. She loved it though and that is what matters.

Ice Cream Cake

I made this ice cream cake for my daughters 2nd birthday. The pictures didn't come out good but the cake was cute and really good! Chocolate cake layered with moose tracks ice cream and fudge and iced with whipped cream.
