Zebra cake

This was Emma's 6th birthday cake. She wanted a zebra laying in the jungle. It was chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling covered with marshmellow fondant. The trees are pretzel sticks and the zebra was hand modeled out of fondant and painted with edible gel. She loved it.

Watermelon

I made this cake for a BBQ we attended. The cake inside was even pink. I would have liked more time to add some vines and maybe some other fruits to dress it up a bit.

Butterfly Cookies

I usually stick with cake but decided to try my hand at cookies. I made these for my daughters kindergarten class for her birthday today. They don't want cupcakes in the class room so I had to step out of my comfort zone and dive into the cookie world. It took longer than I thought but I am pleased with the results and Emma loved them. Something I will just continue to improve on hopefully.

Periwinkle Baby Shower Cake

This is a baby shower cake I did for a new mom to be. She just wanted something elegant using her nursery colors. The bottom layer is vanilla cake with alternating layers of vanilla and raspberry butter cream. The top layer is chocolate cake with alternating layers of mocha butter cream and chocolate truffle filling. Covered in fondant with fondant accents. I love these colors together.
